Calculation details
Formula and calculation method
Litres required = distance × consumption ÷ 100. Cost = litres required × fuel price.
Worked example
A 500 km journey at 7 l/100 km needs 35 litres; at PLN 6.50 per litre it costs PLN 227.50.
Limitations
- Price and consumption may change during the journey; this excludes tolls, parking and vehicle wear.
